Good reading for all rp:ing dwarves in FR. If you read this, you got it all

Forgotten Realms Campaign setting

-entries about the dwarves and the area around Silver Marsches, including the largest northern dwarven strongholds (Citadel Felbarr, Mirabar, Citadel Adbar and Mithral Hall)

FR Faiths and Pantheons

-entries about the dwarven gods.

FR Races of Faerun

-dwarf entry (detailed information about both gold and shield dwarves and the compltete history about dwarves in FR)

D&D Races of Stone

-dwarf entry. Very nice info about dwarven culture, how they live, how their strongholds look like, what clothes they prefer, you name it.

Those books are several hundred pages a piece. Wouldnt work. Either by them or use pages on the net to substitute them. They can also be found in acrobat format around the net (but that is a business between you and WotC).
